Bačvice Beach Apartment is set in an original Mediterranean townhouse from 1927 — a small, characterful building on Ul. Vlahe Bukovca, in the calm Bačvice neighbourhood of Split.

The house was built in the late 1920s, in a period when Bačvice was already known as a popular bathing area for Split locals. Original features — generous ceilings, calm proportions — have been preserved while every apartment has been updated for modern comfort: fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, hotel-grade bed linen and quiet, well-equipped kitchens.
Each apartment is fully self-contained — its own kitchen, its own bathroom, its own entrance code. There is no shared front desk and no on-site staff. What you get instead is a private, peaceful base that feels more like your own pied-à-terre in Split than like a hotel.
The street outside is quiet residential. Step out, turn left, and you're at the beach. Step out, turn right, and you're walking towards the Old Town along one of the most pleasant routes in central Split.
Original architectural features preserved and gently restored.
Two private apartments under one historic roof — never both occupied as one unit.
Bright, calm, sunlit — the reason guests describe the house as "summer made into a building".
