How many guests can each apartment accommodate?+
Each apartment is designed for up to 4 guests. The two apartments are independent, so a group of up to 8 can book both together.
Are the two apartments separate or connected?+
They are entirely separate, self-contained apartments. Each has its own private kitchen, private bathroom, and private entrance code. They share only the historic 1927 townhouse they are set in.
Is direct booking available?+

What time is check-in?+

Apartment differences & details

What's the difference between Apartment One and Apartment Two?+
Both apartments are 40 m², sleep up to 4, and have a private kitchen and private bathroom. Apartment One ("The Sun Room") is brighter, with warm tones and afternoon light. Apartment Two ("The Sea Room") is calmer and cooler, with sea-blue accents and a more restful, shaded feel.
Does each apartment have its own kitchen?+
Yes. Each apartment has its own private, fully equipped kitchen — stove, oven or hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee setup, dishes and basic cookware.
Does each apartment have its own bathroom?+
Yes. Each apartment has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, fresh towels, hairdryer, and quality toiletries.
Is there air conditioning?+
Yes — both apartments have air conditioning, which makes a real difference in the Split summer.
Is there Wi-Fi?+
Yes. Both apartments have fast fibre Wi-Fi suitable for streaming, video calls, and light remote work.
Is there a workspace for a laptop?+
Yes. Both apartments have a small desk or comfortable table suitable for occasional laptop work. Apartment Two has a slightly more dedicated workation setup.
Is there a washing machine?+
Yes — laundry essentials are available for guests staying longer than a few nights. Please ask on arrival.
Are towels and bed linen included?+
Yes. Crisp, professionally laundered bed linen, bath towels and beach-ready towels are included in every stay.

Location & neighbourhood

How far is Bačvice Beach from the apartment?+
Approximately 150 metres — a two-minute walk. Bačvice is the only sandy beach in central Split, with shallow water that's especially good for families and easy swimming.
Can we walk to Split Old Town?+
Yes. The historic Old Town with Diocletian's Palace is roughly 800 metres away — about a 10-minute walk along a pleasant, mostly flat route.
Are there restaurants and cafés nearby?+
Plenty. The neighbourhood around Bačvice has bakeries, morning cafés, gelato spots and konobas (traditional Dalmatian taverns) within a 1–5 minute walk. The hosts are happy to share favourites.
Is the neighbourhood convenient for a short stay in Split?+
Very. You're close enough to the Old Town to walk in for dinner, close enough to the beach to swim before breakfast, and close to the ferry port for day-trips. Most guests don't need a car.
Is the area suitable for families?+
Yes. Bačvice is sandy and shallow, the streets around the apartments are calm, and the walk into town is short and pram-friendly.
Is it noisy at night?+
The immediate street is quiet at night. Bačvice itself has a few lively summer bars closer to the beach — far enough away that the apartments stay peaceful, close enough if you want to go out.

What is the exact address?+
Ul. Vlahe Bukovca 2, Split, Croatia. We send precise arrival instructions and a Google Maps link the day before check-in.
Is self check-in available?+
Yes. Self check-in with a personal door code is the standard arrival method. You receive full instructions the day before, and we're available by phone or message if anything is unclear.
Will I receive arrival instructions before check-in?+
Yes — usually one to two days before arrival, including the door code, exact address, parking notes and arrival photos.
How do I reach the apartment from the ferry port or bus station?+
Both are roughly 900 metres / 12 minutes on foot. A taxi takes a few minutes; many guests simply walk.
How do I reach the apartment from Split Airport (SPU)?+
Split Airport is about 25 km away — roughly a 30-minute drive by taxi or pre-booked shuttle. A public bus also connects the airport to central Split.
Is parking available nearby?+
Public street and zone parking is available in the area, but it's limited in summer. Many guests don't bring a car since the location is so walkable. Ask us in advance if you'll need to park.
What if I arrive late at night?+
Self check-in works at any hour. Just let us know roughly when to expect you, and we'll make sure your code and instructions are ready.
What if I have trouble with self check-in?+
Call or message us immediately — someone is always available during normal arrival hours and on call beyond that.

During the stay

Is the kitchen fully equipped?+
Yes. Both kitchens include a stove or hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee setup, cookware, dishes and cutlery. Enough for everything from morning coffee to a proper home-cooked dinner.
Is the apartment suitable for a longer stay?+
Yes. Many guests stay 5 to 14 nights, and a few stay longer in shoulder seasons. The kitchens, fast Wi-Fi, and laundry essentials make extended stays comfortable.
Is the apartment on the ground floor or easy to access?+
The historic 1927 house has a few steps at the entrance and to reach the apartments. We're happy to share specific accessibility details — please contact us if this matters for your stay.
Are pets allowed?+
Pets are not allowed in either apartment, in order to keep both spaces hypoallergenic for all guests.
