Walking distances

By foot, not by car.

Almost everything you'll want to see in Split is within an easy walk. Here are the main landmarks and how long they take from our door — measured honestly, on foot, at a normal walking pace.

Bačvice Beach
The beach

Bačvice — two minutes from the door.

Bačvice is the only sandy beach in central Split. The water is shallow and warm, the sand is gentle on bare feet, and at sunset locals still play picigin — a traditional shallow-water ball game that's a small piece of Split's identity.

From above

A compact, walkable city by design.

Central Split is small. From the air, you can almost see all of it at once — the peninsula, the harbour, the palace, the beaches. From our address you can reach virtually every part of the centre on foot, no map required.

Riva promenade in Split — golden hour
Lifestyle

The Riva, at golden hour.

Split's seafront promenade is where the city gathers in the evening. Palms, café tables, ice cream, and an unhurried Mediterranean tempo. Walk back along it after dinner — it's nine minutes home, but you'll want it to be longer.

The neighbourhood

Calm streets, good food, the sea around the corner.

Bačvice is the part of Split where locals come to swim. It's the only sandy beach in the central city — shallow, family-friendly, and famous for picigin, a traditional shallow-water ball game played at sunset.

Around the apartments you'll find a mix of bakeries opening at dawn, classic Dalmatian konobas, modern cafés, and a calm, residential rhythm that contrasts gently with the busier Old Town just up the road.

It's the rare Split address that gives you both the beach and the historic centre on foot — without giving up peace and quiet at night.
